Hi my name is Dave Huxtable and property in one way or another has always been a passion for me. From my first Victorian mid-terrace house in St Thomas with its dated bathroom and kitchen, to the complete refurb of our 70’s property in Countess Wear I have always had tool in hand and an eye for the finish. It wasn’t until I joined a great independent Estate Agent back in 2015 did I understand the joy of embellishing the virtues and possibilities of properties. And naturally along with this position came the resurrection of another age old passion of mine, that of photography. We all know the expression of a “picture painting a thousand words”, well its true.

Nothing beats a good 35mm on a tripod located at the right height and in the right position. Getting the right f-stop gives a balanced focus and a shutter speed that lets the light flood in, but not too much. The art is in getting the windows not to “blow out” with white light or the corners of the room to be too dark to appreciate.

Presenting a property for sale is not always a quick job, and showing it at its best often comes simply down to pulling curtains, straightening bedding, hiding unsightly items and always putting down the toilet seat.  For me this goes right along with a good floor plan. I take pride in my floor plans so they represent the property to its best, with floors spaced on the image to give the best look and Agents logos inserted as standard. And like my photographs these are all presented to you in a Rightmove optimised format.

To me this is a passion, I love meeting people, I really enjoy peoples enthusiasm for their properties and if I can help to achieve an optimal price from using my services, then, I believe we all should be very happy with the results.
